Always
evolving, Mary Jo Willis, known for her boldly colored
cowgirl paintings, has added a new dimension to her
work. Her new painting series, "Reflections"
explores the many facets of the sun's reflections on
water. Mary Jo used metallic paints to achieve a new
depth to the visual experience. Whether these images
are expressed through the dancing movement of a
waterfall or the serenity of a sunset on a tranquil
lake, Willis captures, on canvas, these mesmerizing
moments in nature.
One of Mary
Jo's other galleries are her Rancho Manana giclee watercolor
prints. Originally painted for the Rancho Manana Guest Ranch
in Cave Creek, Arizona for the walls of their charming
casitas. In these 31 paintings, she captures the
many faces of the American Southwest.
